A Two hour drive to is all it takes to get to Whangarei from Auckland, or as Bazza calls it, Whunky-Name.
Twenty minutes to Tutukaka.

The guys from TechDive drew my attention to this clever wee fishy pet, and I have to admit, I was impressed with his skill level.

Swimming with Dizzy
This turtle really is incredible with the way it compensates for not having a front flipper. Watch at the end of the clip how it uses the opposite rear flipper in time and the odd rear flipper as a rudder. Cool!

Two Turtles Released at Poor Knights Islands
An endangered hawksbill turtle and a badly hurt green turtle that were both washed up on beaches in storms, have been fixed up by Kelly Tarlton's and released today at the Poor Knights Islands.
Another tip from our Ocker mate Bazza.
Truly too easy, nice to understand, and he actually starts to grow on you. Kate is getting pretty fond of him!
