Starry Toado
Starry Toado

Perfect Day anchored in the bay today, and the schooling snapper, in huge numbers, mingled with kingfish, trevally, and starry toado in never before seen numbers.

The schooling snapper were at least 30 pounders, and the beautiful blue water showcased a sight that certainly we had never seen before.

Several schools of starry toado balled up at the surface and were picked away by nature’s fittest.

Russ took some video footage and we have a couple of images, but even though you try to do it justice, the sheer wonder of this marine reserve at the Poor Knights is simply breathtaking.

For the younger generation to see THIS shifting baseline, I am thrilled about. The kids out there today, saw more fish than their grandparents did at their age; for so long it has been the other way around. Long may that trend continue.

Thank you very much for a fabulous day.  It has been a memorable experience for the dive sites, fish and kelp, but also, and a huge part for the dive crew.  The trip was run with enthusiasm, knowledge, efficiency and care.  I was most impressed with the level of customer care.
It has definitely been the best dive company that I have encountered!  Mushroom soup was delish!  I will highly recommend you to everyone!

Thanks Emily - UK
