The Tui was sunk on the 20th February 1999, ten years ago this year, and she has proved to be a spectacular dive.
We had a group of 27 divers from Estonia who stayed with us for seven days, and dived…and dived….and dived!
They have allowed me to use some footage, just shot with their stills camera, but it is really nice! Great visibility at Splendid Arch on the Eastern side of Tawhiti Rahi, about 15 degrees and 20 metres.
Incredible foortage, shot by Dr. Ingrid Visser in show these orca working together.
They spy hop out to see where the seal is, figure out that they need to get him of the ice floe, and creat a set of waves that do just that. How intelligent are these creatures!
